We are excited to be hosting the virtual Texas Dance Improvisation Festival this year and glad that we can bring some excitement and art to you. WHEN: Saturday, October 10th, 2020
A day of dance and connecting featuring a two-part workshop, artist panel, live streaming watch party and jam session.
Tools for Experimentation en la Improvisación and Environment.Workshop Description
In this workshop the artists will share their collaborative strategies and provide instructions/scores for the participants to activate on their own in their local ecology. In the second half of the workshop we will create a “future archive” through written and visual documentation. Together we will create and perform a collective dance score to culminate the workshop.

Registration
All interested in registering for classes and workshops are highly advised to ensure they have the proper space and footwear to participate. Fee for participation is $10 per registrant. You will receive links and passwords via email upon registration.

An interview between the two artists in which they discuss the ways their work addresses territory, resistance, ecological fabulation and the unruly body in improvisation and performance.
Concert Watch Party @ 6:00 pm MST
This year's live concert will be a live stream of dance videos submitted from all over the world. Join us as and connect with dancers globally in this unique version of the TDIF traditional live concert.
