Lost and Found
Notice: Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) Stay Home – Work Safe directive from the City of El Paso, and for the safety of our students, staff, and faculty, retrieval of lost and found property is suspended until further notice. Feel free to submit your inquiry at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will coordinate a pick up date with you at a later time.
Lost and found items submitted to the University Police are stored for a minimum of 90 days. To inquire about lost property, call 915-747-6640 or 915-747-6338 or e-mail email@example.com. After 90 days, unclaimed property is transferred to the Surplus Property Department for public auction or other disposition. To claim found property items, individuals must present a valid Texas driver’s license, Miner Gold Card ID, or a valid photo ID card from another recognized source. Individuals must be able to accurately describe the property to claim it.
NOTE: Property considered a health hazard such as chemicals, food, food containers, hats, clothing, cosmetics, and water bottles cannot be stored and will be disposed of by the Lost and Found section.
