About the OSP Contracts & Agreements (C&A) Division

The OSP Contracts & Agreements division manages all contracts and agreements associated with sponsored research, external funding, and related collaborations. This includes a wide range of documents such as Sponsored Research Agreements, Subcontracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Material and Data Transfer Agreements (MDTAs), Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) and other related agreements.  

Processing Time:

Processing times may vary depending on the complexity of the agreement.  International agreements or those with intricate terms may require additional processing time. The C&A Team will contact faculty if extended processing time is necessary.

Office Hours:

The C&A office hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Processing times are based on business days.

Services

  • Contract Library Management (CLM)

    • The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) utilizes DocuSign CLM as our contract library management. All contracts and agreements must be routed through CLM for signature.

If approved, the request moves to Division Review, where the Division Point of Contact handles Internal Review, External Review, and Execution/Cancellation. If rejected, the process ends. Email notifications are sent after submission and approval or rejection.
