Our team is here to assist you! We invite you to stop by Room 723 in Kelly Hall on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, where a member of the Proposal Development Team will be available to provide you with the necessary support.

We finalize institutional letters of support and commitment, critical for large-scale proposals requiring cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Collaborating with the research team proved to be immensely beneficial. We were fortunate to have continuous communication and meetings with the proposal development team, who diligently facilitated our connections with other team members, ensuring seamless collaboration. From the beginning, our associate dean of research provided exceptional guidance, and the research administration team demonstrated remarkable patience and care in assisting us with finalizing the budget. As newcomers to this process, we deeply appreciate the comprehensive support and direction we received.
UTEP’s revamped Office of Research and Innovation is laser-focused on promoting the success of faculty research at every level and rank. In addition to better, targeted workshops and notices sent to all faculty, the people in the office work diligently and cheerfully to assist faculty in the pursuit of successful research funding. On a recent fellowship application, a team of staff members in the ORI offered me a plethora of forms of support and when I ran into two unanticipated roadblocks as the deadline approached, one member of the staff dropped everything else to help me navigate the submission process. The staff are professional and very helpful while also being understanding and supportive.
