Application Review Process
The decision to accept or reject an application is made by the UTEP Graduate School. Please refer to the Graduate School website for information about application review procedures and deadlines for domestic and international applicants. The site also provides a link to the Graduate School's on-line application forms and information for requesting a paper application. Once the Graduate School receives a completed application and all supporting materials, it forwards these materials to the Physics Department Graduate Committee. After review, the Graduate Committee sends it recommendations back to the Graduate School. Eventually, the Graduate School contacts the candidates about the outcome of their application. The approximate time needed for review is 6-8 weeks.
