UTEP Spirit will have a positive impact on all who interact with UTEP Spirit members by providing an experience which connects us as Miners. We are the catalyst that will instill Miner pride and traditions for our campus, UTEP Alumni, and El Paso Community.  Our values will guide us to strengthen the partnership between our campus and community.

Mission

To provide a one of a kind service and memorable experience for our community stakeholders to believe and take pride in the University by being the essential connector of traditions, passion, and loyalty.

Program Highlights

2011 NCA Intermediate Coed National Champions. We’ve placed in the top 10 since 2012.

2015, 27th Annual UTEP Summer Cheer Camp hit a record high of 620 participants. Our camp provides high level instruction to El Paso region teams (elementary, middle, high schools, rec teams and all-star).

2015- 7th Annual UTEP Cheer Competition hosted 43 teams

2016, 28th Annual UTEP Summer Cheer Camp hosted 585 participants

2016, 8th Annual UTEP Cheer Championship hosted 47 teams

2017, 29th Annual UTEP Summer Cheer Camp hosted 405 participants among 34 teams.

2018, 10th Annual UTEP Cheer Championship hosted 958 participants among 70 teams.

2018, 30th Annual UTEP Summer Cheer Camp hosted 441 campers among 34 teams.

2019, 31st Annual UTEP Summer Cheer Camp hosted 540 campers among 33 teams.

2022- 14th Annual UTEP Cheer Championship hosted 686 among 38 teams

2023- 15th Annual UTEP Cheer Championship hosted 1,035 among 69 teams

2023- 35th Annual UTEP Summer Cheer Camp hosted 669 campers among 44 teams

2024- 16th Annual UTEP Cheer Championship hosted 1,265 participants among 80 teams
