- Scoresheets will be provided via RegChamp within 15 minutes your performance.
- AccuScorewill be available for coaches wanting to challenge their team’s scoring.
- Complete AccuScore form and submit at AccuScore table (forms will be available in the practice room)
- Routine will be reviewed by AccuScore judge
- If honored, your scores will be updated and resent via RegChamp.
REMINDER: While reviewing any request, a Scoring Official may watch the routine in its entirety. Any additional infractions or scoring errors discovered will be assessed to the final score.
*This is not a National Level competition. While judges are qualified and knowledgeable, it is important to understand that they are referring to several scoresheets and rubrics throughout the day to accommodate for all the local divisions we offer throughout a one day event.
Scoring
All scoring will be done electronically. Sample score sheets will be available through RegChamp closer to the event.
Score sheets reflect those used in:
- United Scoring System- All Star Divisions
- NCA School- / MS/ HS Crowd leading & Performance teams
- UIL- Game Day (same scoring components used during “Finals” of UIL)
- YCADA- Recreational Show Cheer
Scoring covers skills in the areas of jumps, tumbling, building, & overall performance. Be sure to register your team in a division that meets the number of participants and skill levels that apply to your team.
Deductions
- The only deductions that will apply to routines are technical deductions such as: athlete fall, building fall,
bobbles, etc. Point deduction values will follow those specific to the score sheets that are mentioned
above and are level/ division specific. - There are no deductions given for performing illegal skills outside your level- only warnings. Teams do
not get any points for skills performed outside of their level. However, there will be technical deductions
applied to all errors on skills performed in a routine.
Example 1: A school novice team has an athlete perform a round-off, back handspring, layout tumbling pass. The athlete will not receive any points for performing the layout and will receive a warning for an illegal skill.
Example 2: A school novice team has an athlete perform a round-off, back handspring, layout tumbling pass and the athlete touches down on the layout. The athlete will not receive any points for performing the layout and will receive a warning for the illegal skill AND will be deducted for an “Athlete Fall” deduction.
Note: It is highly recommended that teams make their routine level appropriate to maximize points and not risk getting technical deductions.
