Student Emergency
Emergencies, disasters and accidents can happen at any time and without warning. Staff of the Dean of Students Office can help students and their families during difficult or emergency situations by providing support, assistance and referrals to relevant campus and community resources. Emergencies include but are not limited to:
- Missing Student
- Major Medical or Psychological Health Concern/Issue
- Student Death (Current or Former)
- Fire or Natural Disaster
- Academic difficulties due to crisis or emergency situations
- Sexual harassment and sexual violence (stalking, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence)
Situations that present an immediate threat to persons or property are considered emergencies and should be directed to the UTEP Police Department at 911.
