The Dean of Students Office creates a culture of care for students, their families, faculty and staff by providing exemplary programs and services designed to enhance students' academic and personal success. The Dean of Students staff is committed to building and maintaining a vibrant community which is inclusive and open to new and differing experiences and viewpoints. The Dean of Students Office provide leadership and oversight to many departments all of whom promote educational and leadership experiences that prepare students to serve their communities and respect the dignity of all persons.
The Center for Accommodations and Support Services (CASS) aspires to provide students with disabilities, accommodations and support services to help them pursue their academic, graduation, and career goals. The Center is responsible for student’s ADA-related accommodations for coursework, housing and internships.

The CARE: Center for Advocacy, Resources and Education office seeks to empower students through education by providing advocacy, resources and supportive services to UTEP students, staff and faculty members who have been impacted by any crime. CARE also works in partnership with campus departments and community agencies to create engaging programs to educate the campus community about the role each of us play in ending interpersonal violence on our campus.

CAPS assists students in deciding on a career or working through personal concerns. CAPS offers confidential counseling services in English or in Spanish. Distance learners are invited to contact CAPS for a one time consultation regarding their specific needs. CAPS provide group and individual counseling for currently enrolled UTEP students and consultation services for faculty and staff.
The Military Student Success Center (MSSC) at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) is the designated starting point for military-affiliated community members who desire to pursue a college degree. The MSSC serves the military-affiliated community of El Paso, Fort Bliss and beyond as the epicenter for success at The University of Texas at El Paso. Through collaborative effort, the MSSC ensures student success by achieving academic, social and professional development from admissions to graduation.
The College of Health Sciences has administrative responsibility for the UTEP Student Health and Wellness Center (SHWC) which is here to address health care needs of all UTEP students. Primary care services as well as immunizations are available at the SHWC. Students can also receive counseling, wellness, and nutrition education services at the SHWC.
