COUNSELING AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES
WE’RE HERE FOR YOU!
Counseling and Psychological Services continues to provide counseling services to students. CAPS delivers all services through video or over the phone. If you would like to speak with a counselor, rather than coming to our main office, please call us at 915-747-5302 from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday-Friday. If you have questions about services during this time, feel free to give us a call.
On Call Crisis services: CAPS will continue to have On-Call counselors available in person and over video or phone for same day appointments. Please refer to our Crisis & Emergency page to learn what is considered a mental health crisis.
Our Miners Talk: Crisis Line will also remain in operation for after-hours services. After hours, please call 915.747.5302.
CAPS is available to provide virtual outreach presentations. Learn more about scheduling a CAPS presentation for your class, organization, or department. Check our “CAPS to Go” link above to learn about upcoming live video outreach presentations.Currently Unavailable:
Join us for our Dare to Self-Care event! The purpose of this event is to increase awareness on mental health and include strategies to decrease stress before finals week. This event is open to all UTEP students, faculty and staff. We want to include resources that can help individuals increase their knowledge on mental health and learn about resources available both in campus and in the community. There will be music, self-care activities and prizes!
