Office of International Programs
The Office of International Programs / OIP works with academic and administrative partners in the colleges to build on the success of the UTEP international community. OIP is a meeting place for international student and scholar support and a key facilitator of our community’s cultural awareness growth through programming, services and outreach. We provide the expert means to enrich UTEP’s campus diversity while complying with federal regulations and helping our international clients understand their own obligations.
MISSION
The Office of International Programs primarily assists UTEP international students, scholars, and dependent family members to maintain their non-immigrant statuses. We comply with federal regulations for mandatory record keeping and reporting to federal agencies on behalf of UTEP. We provide high-quality immigration advising and services, and coordinate with university partners to assist international students and scholars in pursuing academic goals.
VISION
Global engagement exists locally via UTEP’s Office of International Programs (OIP).
