Pay Cycle Schedule

The UTEP Disbursement and Travel Services office runs two regularly scheduled pay cycles.

• The Accounts Payable pay cycle for vendor payments and reimbursements is run every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday only.
• The Student Refund (SR) pay cycle is run Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with an adjusted schedule at the beginning of each semester/term.  During this adjustment period, SR pay cycles are run daily beginning with Student Business Services' "Disbursement Date" for each semester and continue on a daily basis (MTWRF) through census day.

When a regularly scheduled pay cycle falls on a US Bank holiday, the pay cycle is cancelled.  The pay cycle immediately prior to the holiday will serve as the alternate pay cycle and will include payment for all fully approved vouchers with scheduled pay dates through the holiday.  Below is the list of regularly scheduled pay cycles in calendar year 2026 which fall on a US Bank holiday or a UTEP holiday along with the prior/alternate pay cycle.  We kindly request that colleges and departments coordinate internal voucher and expense report processing/approval to allow our office sufficient time to review, approve and process timely payments.

1. 3. The final pay cycle of 2026 is tentatively scheduled for 12/21/2026 and is subject to change contingent on the UTEP fiscal year 2026 holiday schedule.  This pay cycle will include payment for all fully appproved vouchers with scheduled pay date through to 1/2/2027.
