Luis A. Arias is a Lecturer in the Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). He earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, San Diego, California, in 1981 and his baccalaureate degree (BA) from UTEP. His professional work experience includes Department of Justice-Federal Bureau of Investigation, El Paso Community Supervision and Corrections Department, law clerk, and (part-time) adjunct faculty at UTEP and El Paso Community College.
