FloraFest Fall Sale 2026

Thank you to everyone who came to our Fall FloraFest native plant sale on September 19th! We enjoyed good weather, good conversations, and good plants.  Our spring sale will be in early April.  The date will be shared once it is confirmed.

We are holding a small pop up sale of the left over plants Sunday Oct 4th from noon until 1 pm.  The sale will be in the Chihuahuan Desert Gardens.  Enter through the driveway on University Ave and turn right to head to the Assembly Garden.  Limited parking is available in the museum lot and street parking on campus is free on Sundays.  Payment is with card only.  View the list of plants, the quantities, and the prices, which reflect a 20% discount, by clicking HERE.  Note that quantities are subject to change.

For all Florafest sales, the gates open at 9 am, and the sale ends at 3 pm.  Shop early for the best selection.  Support the Chihuahuan Desert Gardens while adding beauty to your yard.  FloraFest is the primary fundraiser for the maintenance and operation of the Chihuahuan Desert Gardens.

The preliminary plant list for the fall 2026 sale is now available!  See the list of plants HERE.

Native plants are beautiful, and they help conserve water, require less maintenance, and are more cold-hardy than plants from other parts of the world. Native plants also provide food and habitat for birds, bees, and butterflies. Using native plants in your yard is one step that we can take to help restore a healthy ecosystem in El Paso.

Shoppers can visit with local Master Gardeners, horticulturists, and other plant experts for advice on how to care for their plants at home. We sell mostly native and native-adapted (plants that are not native to our region but will grow well here) plants, many of which are not available at local nurseries or retailers.
