Florafest Logistics
The Fall FloraFest plant sale will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 9:00 A.M. until we sell out. Come early for the best selection!
Location
Florafest will be at the UGLC Plaza on the UTEP campus. The UGLC plaza is located between the Centennial Museum and the UGLC. The entrance is on University Ave, and the exit and plant loading zone is on Wiggins Way.
Free parking for this event will be available at the Sun Bowl Parking Garage. We recommend parking there while you browse the sale, and then you can leave your plants in the “plant parking” spot while you bring your vehicle to the loading zone in front of the UGLC. Volunteers will be available to help you load your vehicle.
Shopping FAQ
We will have a limited number of wagons available, so strongly encourage shoppers to bring their own wagon or cart if possible.
We will only be accepting credit cards. No cash or personal checks. Plant prices range from $9 for most of the 1-gallon sizes to $25-40 for the 5-gallon sizes. Some larger plants and specialties might be more expensive.
We will be monitoring the public health circumstances as the sale date approaches, and will follow any recommended safety procedures.

Volunteer Information

Volunteers receive a 10% discount on plants. We strongly encourage volunteers to come to our pre-sale on Friday September 30th from 3:00-5:00 pm.
There will be a training session that will last about one hour. This is particularly important for new volunteers and those people who will be working as cashiers and line walkers. It is scheduled for Tuesday September 27 at 6 pm at the Centennial Museum.
