The Monsoon Plant Sale is a small event to help shoppers get a head start on their fall gardening. Fall typically brings cooler weather which makes it easier to get new plants established in the yard. The plants for sale during the Monsoon Sale have either been grown at UTEP, purchased as small plants and grown here for about two months, or are leftovers from prior sales. This is much smaller than our Fall FloraFest plant sale, which will see a wide assortment of native and desert-adapted trees and shrubs for sale. All of the plants we sell have been selected because they are expected to thrive in our environment.
