¡Bienvenidos! Welcome to the College of Health Sciences (CHS) at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). In keeping with UTEP’s mission of Access, Excellence and Impact, our College is dedicated to the preparation of the next generation of health professionals> Our graduates work work to improve quality of life, address health disparities, respond to the social determinants of health, and provide outstanding health care to the communities they serve with compassion and competence.
UTEP is recognized by the Carnegie Foundation as a very high-research-activity (R1) and a community engaged university. As such, the College of Health Sciences engages in interdisciplinary and cross-border research, teaching relevant courses and community service initiatives designed to examine and address some of the most pressing health challenges that our local and global communities face.
