Transforming Lives through Research
The University of Texas at El Paso is recognized by the Carnegie Foundation as a high-research active (R1) and community engaged institution. The UTEP College of Health Sciences faculty is engaged in community-based, interdisciplinary and translational research designed to improve health outcomes, and increase quality of life in the Paso del Norte region and beyond. Our faculty has expertise across a wide array of public health and social equity topics, with a focus on solutions-oriented research that bridges the gap between the generation of new knowledge and its implementation (“know-do gap”).
Together with our community partners, we are working to solve some of today’s most pressing health challenges. Click on an icon below to learn more about the innovative research happening at the UTEP College of Health Sciences.
