Public Health Professor Named As Campus Innovator
In Fall 2017, Dr. Thenral Mangadu, an Assistant Professor for the Department of Public Health Sciences, was named as a Campus Innovator by the UTEP Office of Technology Commercialization. Dr. Mangadu and her team were recognized for their innovative practices in health research and community outreach.
Her research interests include: Minority health disparities related to HIV, substance abuse and HCV prevention; nutrition in special populations; violence prevention, program evaluation, and global health disparities.
She is also a graduate of the UTEP Ph.D. Program in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences with a concentration in Health Promotion.
