HealthReady+ Professional Readiness in Health Sciences is a 100% free UTEP microcredential badge that helps College of Health Sciences (CHS) students stand out for jobs, internships, and grad programs. The HealthReady+ badge is open to all CHS students of any major and classification, and builds the professional skills that health sciences employers value most: collaborative problem-solving alongside other health professionals (IPE), patient- and client-centered communication, conflict resolution, and professional time management.

EARN THE BADGE

To earn the badge, go to MineTracker, register for the four required workshops, and attd them within one academic year. Once you're done, you'll earn your official UTEP digital badge to showcase on LinkedIn and your resume — proof that you didn't just complete your degree, you prepared for your career.

FOUR CORE WORKSHOPS

Register in MineTracker and complete all four workshops within one academic year. Workshops are offered every semester and facilitated by practicing professionals, CHS faculty, and UTEP alumni.

• Interprofessional Education (IPE): Discover how interdisciplinary healthcare teams collaborate, build trust, and drive patient-centered care. 

• Responsiveness, Humility, and Empathy: Explore self-awareness, empathy, and humility to deliver meaningful, patient-centered care as a future healthcare professional.

• Communication, Collaboration and Resolution: Master key communication skills, navigate tough conversations confidently, and learn active listening & resolution strategies.

• Professional Time Management for Success: Learn practical tools to prioritize tasks, plan strategies, and build good habits to maximize productivity and balance.

OPTIONAL ADD-ON WORKSHOPS
