Share Your Story/Share a Student’s Story

Each Commencement, UTEP tells the story of its graduating class through the experiences and future plans of our graduates. These stories may be shared with the local media, posted on UTEP’s website and social media channels, and could be highlighted during the Commencement ceremonies.

We seek December 2024 graduate and undergraduate candidates with inspiring stories from all majors who have excelled academically and taken advantage of opportunities to enhance their learning, such as internships, study abroad, research, leadership and community engagement.

We want to know how the University has assisted you on your academic and personal journeys. We are interested in how you may have overcome adversity to achieve your goals and earn your degree. Was there an individual at UTEP who made a significant impact in completing your education? Are you a first-generation college student, or do you come from a long line of Miners? Lastly, please tell us about your future academic and professional plans.
