Courses
- Degree plans (the list of courses required for a degree) expire after seven years. Your advisor can provide a degree evaluation that will inform you of the courses you need to pass in order to meet current degree requirements.
EPP Admission
- Returning students must meet current EPP Admission Requirements: Please click Here.
Exams
- If you took state exams during your period of enrollment, your exam history will be maintained.
- State exams change periodically, and old exams are no longer accepted for certification. For a list of tests required for certification, please visit this link: https://tea.texas.gov/texas-educators/certification/educator-testing
Former undergraduate teacher candidates who have graduated from the program and are not listed as EPP Finishers in the TEA database may not be readmitted to the undergraduate program. In order to become certified, these candidates must go through an Alternative Certification Program (ACP).
Please be aware that certification requirement changes made by the TEA and State Board of Educator Certification (SBEC), may impact candidates already admitted into the EPP. To stay informed of such changes, we encourage you to visit or communicate with your Program Advisor on a regular basis and to visit TEA website: https://tea.texas.gov/.
