Discover-E Engineering & Computing Lab

The Discover-E Engineering & Computing Lab is a truck with a 24-foot trailer designed to deliver engaging modules to middle school students around the region. Students will be introduced to engineering concepts by bridging what is learned in the classroom to real life scenarios and applications.

The Outreach team at Del Valle Middle School running the Cool Energy Module. Students get to learn about the different types of insulation as well as explore their creativity through the creation of popsicle houses.

The Outreach team at Del Valle Middle School running the Power Cycle module. Students are introduced to the concepts of AC and DC current. After that, students get to ride bikes that will power on a light board.
