This team of undergraduate engineering & computer science majors drives the College of Engineering's K-12 Outreach programs. Their mission is to develop and nourish relationships with local area schools and teachers while providing a menu of programs that will grow the pool of future Miners.

Nexus Shadowing Program

The Nexus shadowing program offers high school students a research experience. Sponsoring labs connect participants to faculty and student researchers which may grow to include a laboratory project, leadership training, and a final project/presentation.

Online applications are only accepted during the months of August, January and May for shadowing to occur in the fall, spring and summer semesters respectively.


Tour the College of Engineering
