Dear Future Miner,

You have a lot of important decisions to make in the next few months concerning your future!  We hope that the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Department at UTEP will be one of those decisions.  We exist to bring opportunities to students such as yourself – whether this involves undergraduate students developing ice extraction systems for space missions, designing and competing with an autonomous vehicle, developing next-generation materials for advanced manufacturing, doing cutting-edge research with our faculty or launching their careers with internships with NASA, Tesla, Apple or other companies…

The AME Department is a place where you can have the best of both worlds. A program with cutting-edge research opportunities, and design experiences as well as a strong focus on the success and development of our undergraduate students.

Over the next several months we will be sending you information and news on some of the activities going on with the AME program and hope that we will see you join our family in the fall.
