PSA Wins Best Chapter Award

The University of Texas at El Paso Epsilon Epsilon chapter of Pi Signma Alpha chapter has won a Best Chapter Award for 2024-2025. Ths is the twelfth time UTEP's chapter of the National Political Science Honors Society has won the award. Dr. Taeko Hiroi serves as the chapter's faculty advisor and has built a strong tradition of UTEP being a top chapter. Congratulations to the student members, student leadership, and Dr. Hiroi on this achievement!

Pi Sigma Alpha noted the UTEP chapter's development of civic engagement activities and Dr. Hiroi's exceptional leadership. Per Pi Sigma Alpha, the award is "intended to recognize local chapters that are particularly active in their institutions and communities and embody our society’s mission to stimulate scholarship and intellectual interest in political science."
