Liberal Arts Computing Equipment Inventory
General Information

All computing equipment with a UTEP tag number must be scanned by Inventory once per fiscal year. (see FAQ: Inventory, question #1)

Each department and program is responsible for maintaining inventory documentation for the last three inventory cycles. (see the Inventory Control page)

Each department and program must know where all of their property (including all of their computing equipment) is located at all times. (see the HOP: University-Owned Property and Equipment page)

Each department and program is responsible for designating a person or persons, belonging to the department, for being responsible of institutional assets. (see the HOP: University-Owned Property and Equipment page)

Missing/Stolen property must be properly reported (see FAQ: Inventory, question #2)

Transfers
- Information on transferring computing equipment inter-departmentally
Surplus
- Information on properly disposing of computing equipment by sending it to Surplus
