We are collecting recorded interviews to preserve the memories and experiences of those who worked closely with Dr. Natalicio and were influenced by her leadership. To capture a range of perspectives, interviewees include former students, faculty, and administrators, as well as community members. The interviews will be archived at UTEP as part of a long-standing oral history collection that spans more than 50 years and 2,000 recorded narratives.
If you would like to share your experience working with Dr. Natalicio at an upcoming event, please email us at natalicioinstitute@utep.edu to set up an interview.
We are also collecting written reflections that can be submitted at natalicioinstitute@utep.edu.

The oral history commemorating Dr. Natalicio’s legacy and philosophy is being developed in conjunction with the Institute of Oral History at the University of Texas at El Paso. This team has been responsible for assembling the University’s 50+ year oral history archive under the direction of Dr. Yolanda Leyva.
