Through the generosity of the Shiloff Family, the Diana Natalicio Institute for Hispanic Student Success carries forward the vision and values of Dr. Diana Natalicio. The Shiloff Family Lecture Series welcomes leading voices to campus and the broader community to deepen understanding, inspire dialogue, and generate action around the future of higher education.

The inaugural Shiloff Family Lecture was delivered by Freeman A. Hrabowski III, president emeritus of The University of Maryland, Baltimore County, an influential and globally respected voice in higher education. Drawing on themes from his newest book, The Resilient University, Dr. Hrabowski shared an inspiring vision for how universities can navigate change with clarity and purpose—strengthening their capacity to serve students, communities, and the future of higher education.

Our goal is to accelerate research, showcase the latest scholarly learnings on the subject, and facilitate the identification of levers of change and strategic gaps in the knowledge base. Through the Convenings, we are cultivating collective intelligence, building influence, and advancing student success at a national scale.
