Fostering Systems of Change

Our work as a Knowledge Center provides a strong foundation for empowering systems-level change. We leverage ecosystems, alliances, and policy-making to bring the insights and strategies uncovered in our research to a wider audience. We work closely with partners to reimagine systems that expand educational opportunities for all.

SOuthwest Borderlands Chapter of the Scholars Strategy Network

The Institute is a co-organizer of the new Southwest Borderlands regional chapter of the Scholars Strategy Network (SSN) with UTEP’s Center for Community Engagement (CCE). We are bringing together faculty, graduate students, and community partners interested in using research to engage with pressing public issues in the region and ensure that our voices, values, and expertise are part of the conversation. Membership is free and open to college- and university-based scholars at all career stages.
