“The REAS team at UTEP is outstanding. Everyone I have worked with is incredibly friendly, personable, and willing to go above and beyond to help you get your project done. REAS contributes expertise and experience in helping you plan and complete your analyses and interpret your study findings. The ease and promptness of communication and the warmth and enthusiasm extended to answering my questions and assisting me in any qay they can. The REAS center is very encouraging and exudes positive energy, which is what you need when trying to complete your studies. I would absolutely recommend REAS to others. They listen and are very attentive to your questions and needs, and the work they provide is exemplary. The qualitative analysis assistance they provided me was extremely helpful. I felt very supported in trying to complete the study I was working on. They are so willing to patiently work with you, and you know the work they are doing is of the highest caliber, as they give great attention to detail and make sure you are satisfied with the work they do for you. They are truely UTEP’s hidden gem.”
“The REAS team led by Dr. Sandra Oviedo Ramirez is highly professional in terms of project material delivery, consistency in communication, availability, and timely submission of project materials. REAS executed the project evaluation of the DOE-NNSA funded CREPES consortium and provided quality reports, detailed statistical analysis, surveys, constructive suggestions, and well coordination with all project team members across three partnering universities and two national labs. I have no doubt it recommending REAS to others!”
“UTEP Research, Evaluation, and Assessment Services (REAS) has been an invaluable partner to the Department of Social Work, providing exceptional consultation, expertise, and collaborative support. Their contributions to the Endeavors First Responders Evaluation Pilot Project and the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health Pete Herrera Case Study have significantly strengthened the quality, rigor, and impact of our scholarship of research and service work. REAS center’s professionalism, responsiveness, and commitment to advancing meaningful research and evaluation have made them trusted consultants and an essential collaborator. We greatly appreciate their outstanding contributions and look forward to continuing this successful partnership.”
“My experience working with the REAS team has been very positive. They have been responsive, collaborative, and always willing to answer questions or provide guidance when needed. They have made the evaluation process approachable and have been great partners to work with. REAS has contributed to our program by helping us evaluate our efforts, better understand our data, and identify both successes and areas where we can continue to improve. Their work has helped us look beyond just reporting numbers and better understand what the data tells us about the program and the people we serve. One of the most valuable aspects of working with REAS has been their ability to provide meaningful feedback and translate findings into information that can be used to make the program better. I would definitely recommend REAS to others, especially particularly organizations looking for an evaluation partner that is knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping programs understand and improve their impact.”
“I had the opportunity to work with the REAS team as part of the NSF-funded Smart Social Connector grant. REAS was tasked with conducting the evaluation of our activities and the impact of participation on students and community members who were associated with the project. Throughout all phases of the project the REAS team maintained open communication with our project team and were creative and flexible in considering the best strategies and analytic procedures for gathering and assessing the needed evaluation data. They helped our research team quantify the impact of our work and offered useful feedback on community-facing materials developed by our project team. REAS team members assisted with crafting portions of the annual evaluation reports and the final report for the grant, and they were always willing to set up meetings to review the content, clarify any questions, and make any needed modifications. At the end of each year of the grant, they helped our project team assess what remained to be accomplished and assisted with identifying the more critical priorities moving forward. Despite the extensive scope and activities of the project, the REAS team was organized and did a terrific job of connecting with the study team to make sure they were up to date on any project changes or alterations to community partners and study team members throughout the 5 years of the grant. The REAS team were professional, supportive, and thorough and it was a truly positive experience working with them. They helped make our work even more impactful and successful, and I would absolutely recommend their services to others.”
“My experience working with the REAS team is very positive. Their work is very insightful, organized, timely, and they are very flexible, and they adapt/adjust to match our project needs. Everyone on the REAS team clearly communicates with the members of our project and they keep track of all the data that is needed. REAS has collected important data to evaluate the performance of the project as a whole and also provide targeted feedback to clearly show which goals are being met and which areas need improvement. Their evaluation and feedback are very important to the project’s growth, and it has helped us understand our members’ satisfaction and the areas that benefit them the most. With this analysis and information, we are able ot focus our developmental activities towards enhancing our students’ knowledge and skills in different areas. REAS kept track of the activities and the participation to quanitfy the impact. Also, very importantly, all the surveys and collected data provide us with very valuable feedback from students, faculty, and industrial partners. One part that is very valuable to us is the REAS Evaluation Report which helps usp to quanitfy our performance and is an integral part of our progress report to the grant agency, who have also praised the content of these reports. I would absolutely recommend REAS to others! REAS has been an incredible partner for our project; they are very professional and knowledgeable. Their insights and data-driven feedback have been crucial to keeping track of what is working and what needs to improve. They put in the effort to understand the program and work with all members to make sure their evaluation is meaningful and accurate. We are very happy having REAS as our partner and we would encourage everyone to get to know their services. Thank you, REAS team, for all your effort, work, care, and time invested in our project!”
“I would recommend REAS without hesitation to anyone in need of evaluation and assessment services. When I have a new project in mind, they are always ready to provide insights and information that are invaluable to the overall evaluation and the project’s success. They are accommodating of my questions and needs and are willing to meet with me at a moment’s notice if concerns arise or we need to adjust plans. Always professional, punctual, and reliable, I know I can trust them to complete all the activities we arranged as part of our project’s evaluation plans without me having to worry or follow up. More often than not, they are the ones keeping me on task. Their annual reports are thorough and detailed, providing data points that help guide my training programs and ensure we offer the most impactful programming that supports my students’ academic success. These findings are invaluable not only to me as a director of training programs but also to my funding agencies and program officers. I cannot recommend the REAS team and their work enough.”
