To ensure a successful partnership and high-quality deliverables, we ask clients to:

For grant Proposal evaluation plan support:

  • Provide proposal materials and funding announcements as early as possible.

    • Clearly communicate project goals, objectives, activities, and anticipated deliverables.

  • Allow adequate time for development of evaluation plans, logic models, budgets, and supporting documentation.

  • Communicate submission deadlines immediately upon engaging REAS.

  • Designate a primary point of contact for the proposal.

  • Respond to requests for information, feedback, and approvals in a timely manner.

  • Attend scheduled meetings and communicate any scheduling conflicts as early as possible.

  • Notify REAS promptly of any changes to project scope, timelines, budget, or any other required supporting documentation (e.g., letters of support, budget justifications, biosketches, etc.).

  • Whenever possible, clients should engage REAS at least 4-6 weeks before the proposal deadline to allow adequate time for planning, consultation, and development of deliverables.

 

For Evaluation Support for a Sponsored Project

Communication & Collaboration

  • Designate a primary point of contact for the project.

  • Respond to requests for information, feedback, and approvals in a timely manner.

  • Attend scheduled meetings and communicate any scheduling conflicts as early as possible.

  • Notify REAS promptly of any changes to project scope, timelines, personnel, funding, or deliverables.

Data & Documentation

  • Provide access to relevant documents, reports, datasets, program materials, and other information necessary to complete project deliverables.

  • Ensure data shared with REAS is accurate, complete, and submitted according to agreed-upon timelines.

  • Obtain any required organizational approvals needed to share data or project information.

  • Inform REAS of any changes in data collection procedures or reporting requirements.

Timelines & Deliverables

  • Review draft deliverables and provide feedback within established review periods.

  • Understand that delays in providing information, data, or feedback may impact project timelines.

  • Adhere to mutually agreed-upon deadlines and milestones.

evaluation & research activities

  • Support participant recruitment and engagement activities when applicable.

  • Facilitate access to stakeholders, participants, and program staff needed for data collection.

  • Assist in securing required approvals (e.g., IRB, district approvals, organizational permissions) when applicable.

Professional Partnership

  • Maintain open, respectful, and transparent communication.

  • Collaborate in problem-solving when challenges arise.

  • Recognize that high-quality evaluation and research require sufficient time for planning, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
