MINERO MAGAZINE

Students have the opportunity to produce the Minero Magazine, a bilingual/bicultural news magazine published every fall and spring semester. The magazine also features a website, which enables both design and journalism students to acquire the skills necessary to produce multimedia content.

Minero Magazine is UTEP’s bilingual and bicultural student publication, telling the stories of the UTEP community and the borderland region. Through creative and impactful journalism that uplifts the many voices of our community, we highlight life in El Paso, Ciudad Juárez, and beyond.

A través de un periodismo creativo y con impacto que resalta las múltiples voces de nuestra comunidad, destacamos la vida en El Paso, Ciudad Juárez y más allá.

We’re building a space where student voices lead the way in celebrating our culture, tackling tough topics, and connecting readers to what matters most in El Paso, Juárez, and beyond.
