Academic Advising
The College of Business Administration provides group advising each semester. During this one hour session, the advisor goes over important course information. Each advising session consists of groups of 30 students or less, all of whom are in the same academic program.
Lower Division Business Students
All current Lower Division Business students are required to attend an advising session. At the beginning of each semester, students should receive an email from their assigned advisor with the dates and times for the advising sessions. If students do not receive this email, please contact our office at 747-5174.
Specialty Major
Students who have already selected a specialty major are not required to attend an advising session. However, in order to see their assigned advisor, students must register for a group advising session. At the beginning of each semester, students should receive an email from their assigned advisor with the dates and times for the advising sessions. If students do not receive this email, please contact our office at 747-5174.
Group advising starts in September in Fall semester and in February in Spring Semester. One-on-one advising sessions are available only after students have attended a group advising session.
