UTEP EMBA: A Closer Look at Executive Coaching

The Big Picture
Executive MBA students at the Woody L. Hunt College of Business have access to 12 months of one-on-one executive coaching through Right Management.
The coaching experience connects students with International Coaching Federation–certified executive coaches who specialize in leadership development, career strategy and professional transitions.
The service is included as part of the UTEP Executive MBA program.
Why It Matters
Executive coaching helps professionals navigate moments of growth and change — whether advancing within their current organization, transitioning to a new role or launching a new venture.
"This executive coaching will help our EMBA students strengthen their executive presence and create a clear, actionable roadmap for post-MBA path."
Through individualized coaching, students can:
- Strengthen leadership skills
- Navigate complex professional situations
- Clarify career direction and long-term goals
- Build a stronger professional brand
How It Works
Students begin the coaching experience during their final semester of the Executive MBA program. After a brief intake process, they are matched with a Right Management executive coach for personalized one-on-one sessions.
In addition to coaching, participants receive access to Right Management’s PowerSuite: NEXT™ platform, which includes leadership learning resources, job search tools and networking opportunities.
Students may continue using the platform for up to one year after their coaching engagement ends.
