The Big Picture
A new cohort begins the doctoral journey.
Sixteen new Ph.D. students have arrived at the Woody L. Hunt College of Business for Fall 2026, beginning doctoral study in accounting, finance, management and marketing.
The cohort includes nine Marcus Jonathan Hunt Graduate Fellows and seven Paul Foster and Alejandra Foster Graduate Fellows. Students receive tuition support for up to four years, contingent on their performance in the program.
As the semester gets underway, the new doctoral students will begin working with faculty mentors to strengthen their research and teaching skills and prepare for the years of scholarship ahead.
Looking Ahead
This new cohort represents the future of our Ph.D. program and the promise of scholarship that can shape organizations, communities and the wider world. We are proud to welcome them, and I look forward to working alongside them as they pursue bold research, grow as thought leaders and create a lasting impact.
