Branding Strategist Ruben Alvarez to Speak at Hunt College

Big Picture
Branding strategist and author Ruben Alvarez will visit the UTEP Woody L. Hunt College of Business on Tuesday, Oct. 27, to discuss how companies can build brand value that lasts beyond the sale.
The free event is part of the Center for Family and Small Business speaker series and is open to students, faculty, staff, and the public.
Why It Matters
Building a business requires decisions about how customers understand its products, services, and value. Through the Center for Family and Small Business, this free session gives students, entrepreneurs, and business owners access to a practitioner’s perspective on those decisions.
The conversation connects brand strategy with the practical work of aligning sales, marketing, and leadership to support long-term growth.
About the Speaker
Alvarez is the founder of The Marketing Hunters, a brand strategy firm, and author of The Black Book of Branding. His approach draws on experience in manufacturing, where he worked across sales, marketing, and operations.
He works with manufacturers, entrepreneurs, and business leaders to clarify their brand identity, strengthen messaging, and align how their organizations communicate.
