UTEP Prep

UTEP Prep UTEP Prep is a 6-week summer bridge program where you get a jump on your college. You enroll in 2 courses (6 semester credit hours) and receive help and support from UTEP Prep faculty, peer leaders, and ESE staff. By participating in UTEP Prep, you will build relationships with professors, administrators, staff and peer leaders, learn about university life and campus resources, and attend professional and academic workshops. UTEP Prep is available at little to no cost for those qualified students who fill out and submit your FAFSA. It has been a very successful program and below are our results.

UTEP Promote

UTEP Promote is a summer bridge program aimed at helping you bridge the gap between your freshman and sophomore years. In the program, you will enroll in one course that applies to your major and participate in academic and professional workshops that will help you along your career path. You will also attend social events that build your sense of belonging and connection with UTEP and your peers. You will collaborate and build relationships with UTEP Promote mentors, faculty and staff which will allow you to grow academically and professionally. UTEP Promote is available at little to no cost for those qualified students who fill out and submit your FAFSA.

Mad Dog Math (MDM)

MDM is a two-week summer math bridge program hosted by the Developmental Math Department where you can complete your developmental math course work for FREE. Developmental math faculty and math tutors will work closely with you to ensure you learn and understand the mathematical concepts. Once completed, you will be eligible to register to take your college-level math course in your first semester at UTEP.
