Founded in 1913, Beta Gamma Sigma is the international business honor society for AACSB-accredited schools, which are the top 5% of business school programs around the world. Chi Epsilon - The National Civil Engineering Honor Society
Description:
Chi Epsilon is a National Honor Society that is dedicated to the purpose of maintaining and promoting the status of civil engineering as an ideal profession. Chi Epsilon was organized to recognize the characteristics of the individual civil engineer deemed to be fundamental to the successful pursuit of an engineering career, and to aid in the development of those characteristics in the civil engineering student. Golden Key International Honour Society
Description:
Golden Key is the world's largest collegiate honor society. Membership into the Society is by invitation only and applies to the top 15% of college and university sophomores, juniors and seniors, as well as top-performing graduate students in all fields of study, based solely on their academic achievements. During this event we will be recognizing new Golden Key Members, provide updates, have raffles, and enjoy time with friends and family. The Epsilon Epsilon Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, The National Political Science Honor Society of Pi Sigma Alpha is the only national honor society in the discipline of political science. The Terry Scholars Student Organization at UTEP is the on campus organization for the Terry Foundation at The University of Texas at El Paso. Our slogan is "We Are Familia" because that is something that we create here at UTEP within our scholars. We host bi-weekly meetings for all scholars to discuss service projects, social events, professional development activities, and intramural sports. We ask that all UTEP Terry Scholars remain actively involved with the organization because it allows them to continue to develop their "familia" and actively engage in community service.

The National Society of Collegiate Scholars
Description:
Membership is open to incoming freshmen and sophomore students with a minimum GPA 3.4 from an accredited 2 or 4 year institution of higher learning. There is a one time lifetime member ship fee of $95. The local chapter is very active on campus and off campus. NSCS also offers may scholarship and networking opportunities for members.

The University Honors Council is the representative body of UHP. The Council focuses on student involvement through academics, community engagement, and social/campus involvement.
