DoART'S, Anne Giangiulio's SP19 ARTG 3326 Graphic Design 4: Typography Course students Jacobo De La Rosa for his logo and to both Jacobo and Briana Rivera on their trifold layout design which is being currently used by the Texas RioGrande Legal Aid’s Nuestra Voz / Our Voice campaign. This campaign is funded by the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund to educate about sexual assault in the workplace. Thousands have now been printed. Great design for a great cause!

DoART'S, Antonio Castro's SP18 ARTG 4316 Graphic Design 6: Practicum Course for having all four poster campaigns chosen by Sun Metro to entice new ridership. Sun Metro was so impressed with the work done by our students that they decided to publish all of the posters, and we will soon see them adorn the bus shelters around the city.

About the Department of Art
Situated on the U.S. – Mexico border, UTEP serves the greater El Paso/Juarez metropolitan area, a population of over 2.5 million. This unique setting is an ideal environment bringing students together from both cultures to explore and expand their aesthetic approaches and interests through the universal language of the visual arts.
The Department of Art offers a comprehensive program in the visual arts. We award the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and the Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees. Students pursuing an art career may choose to major in any of the following areas: art education, art history, ceramics, drawing, graphic design, metals, painting, printmaking and sculpture. Non-art majors can minor in any of the above areas (except art education) plus art history and museum studies.
The Department of Art is located in the Fox Fine Arts Center on the campus of The University of Texas at El Paso. The Department occupies four floors of the Fox Fine Arts Center, a 215,000 square-foot-facility, with 30 studios, galleries and classrooms totaling 65,780 square feet.
An essential part of our program is an active and dynamic visiting artists series. Some of the recent visiting artists are Alice E Drueding, Joe Scorsone, Ana Lopez, Bestabee Romero, Craig Frazier, Steven Randall, Kerianne Quick, Zeke Péna, Gerald Davis and Kee-ho Yuen.
The department operates the Glass Gallery on the third floor of Fox Fine Arts Center, and maintains studios in the following areas: ceramics, drawing, graphic design, metals, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. The Stanlee and Gerald Rubin Center for the Visual Arts offers rotating exhibitions in contemporary art.
