#01: My email says that my "mailbox is almost full." How do I fix this?
Faculty and Staff Outlook email on Exchange is restricted to mailboxes of limited GB in size. If your duties have changed (became Dean, Chair, Director, Organizer, etc.) please contact the UTEP Helpdesk helpdesk@utep.edu and request more space for your mailbox, explaining the situation. If they are unable/unwilling to do so and you would like assistance with archiving and deleting old emails, please contact the Technology Personnel for an appointment.
Alternatively, you can send an email to the UTEP Helpdesk helpdesk@utep.edu and request your account be moved to Office 365 so that your mailbox size is increased on the cloud.
#02: My adjunct faculty's email accounts keep getting closed and their contents deleted. How can I prevent this?
Once a faculty member's teaching appointment ends, his/her @utep.edu mailbox is only kept for a limited amount of time. If your department wishes to preserve continued access to this @utep.edu mailbox, you must request a "sponsored account" from HR/IT. Please email the UTEP Helpdesk helpdesk@utep.edu for details.
