Become a Preceptor for the UTEP School of Pharmacy!
The Office of Experiential Education welcomes you to mentor and train the next generation of pharmacy students through both Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPE) and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE).
Preceptors are needed to oversee pharmacy students during these experiences, ensuring all outcomes and intern hours are being met. Additionally, preceptors will receive multiple benefits, to include, but not limited to, access to UTEP library resources, free preceptor trainings, etc..
If you are interested in becoming a Preceptor for the UTEP School of Pharmacy, please review and complete the following steps:
- Complete Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) three (3) hours of preceptor continuing education requirements. Preceptor CE available at Texas Consortium on Experiential Education.
- Complete the TSBP Preceptor Application.
- Complete the UTEP School of Pharmacy Preceptor Application using the code: UTEPSOP.
