Title: "Getting Started: Welcoming the new student"
Objectives:
- How to personalize the experience to help the student get the most out of it
- How to discuss the student’s personal and professional goals and provide learning opportunities relevant to the student
- How to integrate the student by introducing them to all team members
- How to set clear expectations for each other
- How to discuss time management skills
- How to keep lines of communication open with the student

- Define innovative precepting and how it is beneficial to both your site and potential students/interns/residents, etc.
- How to practically apply innovative precepting to your practice site

Title: “Innovations in Infectious Diseases”
Objectives:
- Identify the new FDA-approved drugs for the management of HIV
- Describe the new antibiotic combinations, e.g., Meropenem-vaborbactam and Ceftazidime-avibactam, and their FDA-approved indications for the management of infections by multi-drug resistant organisms
- Apply the new IDSA recommendations for the management of Clostridium difficileinfection
- Appraise the evidence to support the use of Xpert® MTB/RIF Ultra assay for diagnosis of tuberculosis and Rifampin resistance detection
- Propose modifications to the CMV prophylaxis protocol in allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplant recipients

Title: “PARP Inhibition in Ovarian Cancer”
Objectives:
- Review the epidemiology, etiology, pathophysiology, and current treatment approach for ovarian cancer
- Describe the mechanism of poly-adenosine diphosphate (ADP) ribose polymerase (PARP) inhibition in malignant cells and relate to germline BReast CAncer susceptibility gene (BRCA), somatic BRCA, and homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) mutation status
- Evaluate the literature to determine place in therapy and patient selection of currently approved PARP inhibitors
- Predict future directions of study for PARP inhibition in ovarian cancer
