GETTING STARTED

To login to eProtocol (https://utep.keyusa.net/), use your UTEP user ID and password. You must enable pop-ups in your browser for the system to work properly.

The main page will be your Investigator Home page and it will contain in progress protocols, amendments, and adverse reports, approved protocols, and non-active (expired, closed) protocols.

SUBMITTING A PROTOCOL

To create a new protocol, simply click the “Create Protocol” button and follow the prompts.

To create a new protocol using an approved protocol or in-progress protocol as a base, hit the “Clone Protocol" button. You will then select the protocol you wish to copy or clone into a new protocol.

SUBMITTING AN AMENDMENT

To submit an amendment to an approved amendment, simply click on the protocol ID of the approved protocol.

In the pop-up window, select “Start Amendment”.

SUBMITTING AN ADVERSE EVENT

To submit an adverse event for an approved amendment, simply click on the protocol ID of the approved protocol.

In the pop-up window, select “Start Incident Report Form”.
