Animal Orders

Animal orders and transfers are initiated by principal investigators or their designees via eAnimal Ordering, the software application that handles our animal census, ordering, and transfers. Link can be found here .

Approved vendors, which do not require the Inter-Institutional form and through which orders may be placed in TOPAZ are as follows:

• Jackson Laboratories
• Envigo
• Charles River Laboratories
• Taconic
• Hilltop Lab Animals

For transfers of animals between protocols or between institutions, use the eAnimal Ordering Animal Transfer procedure (under the Investigator menu). For orders from non-approved vendors, please contact LARC directly (LARC@utep.edu).
