Training

LARC offers basic trainings and provides written guidelines for many of those training topics under the buttons links below this page. Vivarium Orientation and Surgical Training are offered on a regular basis, typically once per month. Other topics, such as euthanasia, basic handling and biomethodology, breeding setup/animal gender verification, anesthesia and TOPAZ (animal census software) use are covered on an as-needed basis by contacting the LARC Office at LARCtraining@utep.edu
