Advising for Spring 2024 Registration
Please read this page carefully. All advising is conducted in-person.
If you are unable to attend an in-person advising session, you must contact your advisor before scheduling an appointment.

All College of Science students will have the following holds:
SCI Spr24 Agreement 747-8027
To lift this hold, you must review and complete an Advising Agreement which can be accessed HERE.
If you are having issues accessing the advising agreement, use a different browser and/or clear your cookies and cache.
You will receive an email with your responses if the submission went through successfully.
Please allow 2-3 working days for this hold to be lifted. Your hold may be lifted earlier, but please do not report an issue before 2-3 workdays have passed. Holds are not lifted over the weekend. The most common reason for a hold not being lifted is entering your ID number wrong when completing the agreement. If you notice you entered your ID number incorrectly when you receive the email confirmation, redo the agreement and enter your ID number correctly.
Major Advising Holds
These holds are lifted by your assigned academic advisor after you are advised.
ALL undergraduates in the College of Science must review their records with their advisor before they can register.
Students can meet with their advisor according to the calendar below, or wait until walk-ins begin:
*Priority Registrants are informed of their status as a priority registrant ahead of time.
Typically, priority registrants are Military Affiliated students, students in the SSSP program, students in certain scholarships (not all scholarship recipients), Miner Athletes, and students who receive priority registration as a specific accommodation through CASS (not all CASS registered students get this accommodation).
If you do not know whether or not you get priority registration, you probably don't. If you belong to any of the above groups, check with your program coordinator to verify if you are unsure.

Priority Registration for Spring 2024 opens at midnight (12:00 AM) on:
October 16th, 2023 for Graduates, Post-Baccalaureates, & Seniors
October 23rd, 2023 for Graduates, Post-Baccalaureates, Seniors, & Juniors
October 30th, 2023 for Graduates, Post-Baccalaureates, Seniors, Juniors, & Sophomores
November 6th, 2023 for All Priority Registrants Regardless of Classification
Regular Registration for Spring 2024 opens at midnight (12:00 AM) on:
October 23rd, 2023 for Graduates, Post-Baccalaureates, & Seniors
October 30th, 2023 for Graduates, Post-Baccalaureates, Seniors, & Juniors
November 6th, 2023 for Graduates, Post-Baccalaureates, Seniors, Juniors, & Sophomores
November 13th, 2023 for all students regardless of classification
Registration windows stay open until January 16th, 2024 which is the first day of classes. On January 16th, 2024, Late Registration begins. Students can still register themselves through Goldmine after this date until January 19th, 2024 but late fees are incurred. Registration into College of Science courses after January 19th, 2024 is prohibited.
