Disability Assessment

CAPS provides psychological testing services to UTEP students to assist in the process of diagnosis and treatment planning. Testing and interpretation is performed by staff psychologists, postdoctoral psychology fellows, and doctoral level psychology interns.

We conduct a wide range of psychological assessments, including testing to determine your diagnosis and/or your treatment needs. We also commonly test for conditions such as:

  • Mood Disorders
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Other Psychological Disorders
  • Cognitive Functioning
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
  • Learning and Reading Disorders
  • Trauma

We also work closely with the Center for Accommodation and Support Services in order to determine if UTEP students need academic accommodations. If you have any questions about our psychological assessment services, feel free to call our office at (915) 747-5302 or stop by our center at the Union West Building, room 202 to schedule an appointment with one of our clinical counselors.

*There is a fee charged for testing materials and scoring.
