Students must first complete their exchange application at the UTEP Office of Study Abroad prior to starting their application with ABS University.
Academics
Students will take courses at the American Business School in Paris. These courses will be related to their academic plan and intellectual interests. Students have the option to take classes from a broad array.

Transfer Credit Process
Prior to departure, students must secure transfer credit approval through their home university, usually from their major department. The dean, professor and advisor must certify that the credit will transfer. Once students complete the transfer credit approval form, they will be able to register at UCL.
The courses taken at UCL must count towards the student’s degree plan. It must be noted that students need to obtain a minimum grade of a C (2.0) in order for the credit to transfer. Transferred credits from abroad will not count towards the UTEP GPA.
*Note - students on a full semester program must be enrolled and maintain full-time status, 12 credits hours.
Costs
Students pay UTEP tuition and fees. Additional costs: housing, dining, visa processing, passport processing, airfare and insurance.

All costs of tuition and fees will be paid by the students to the home institution. Corresponding services for these payments will be provided without additional charges by the host institution
