AGREEMENT Checklist

Academic Agreement of Cooperation (MOU) Establish a general cooperative relationship between the University and a partner organization. This agreement includes an English/Spanish version.

Academic MOU Checklist

Academic General Affiliation Agreement Establish a partnership with general terms and conditions between the University and a partner organization. Serves as foundation for future specific program agreements. This agreement includes an International partner option.

Academic General Affiliation Checklist

Academic Non-Disclosure Agreement Confidentiality or Non-disclosure agreement between University and a partner.

Academic NDA Checklist

Amendments to any academic contract type An executed agreement must be amended and parties will agree to add, remove or change part of the agreement.

Amendment Checklist 

Articulation Agreement Establish a partnership between UTEP and another institution setting foundations for acceptance/transfer of credits.

Articulation Checklist

Educational Experience Affiliation Agreement Establish a partnership between UTEP and a facility for student practicum. Serve as foundation for future specific program or project agreements. EEAA Checklist  

Educational Experience Mentorship Agreement Establish a partnership between UTEP and a facility for a specific Nursing student to receive educational experience. This agreement is only for Nursing students.

EE Mentorship Checklist 

Educational Experience Program Agreement Providing students enrolled in a degree program at the University with educational experience utilizing the affiliated facility and resources.  Subordinate to an Educational Experience Affiliation Agreement.

EEPA Checklist 

Preceptorship Agreement Provides a student enrolled in a partnering institution to gain educational experience under University's guidance utilizing the University's facilities and resources. Preceptorship Checklist
Study Abroad Program Agreement Establish the terms of cooperative relationship for international study abroad and student exchange programs with foreign institution. An approved proposal is required. Visiting Faculty Agreement

Temporary agreement to hire a professor from partner institution. OR 

Temporary agreement to send a UTEP professor to teach at a partner institution.

  • Review definition to match the goal of the agreement.
  • Agreements might be named differently by each entity. i.e. Confidentiality = Non-Disclosure

  • For agreements with insurance requirements: Proof of insurance and any approved waivers 
  • For amendments or renewals: Copy of executed agreement if not hosted in DocuSign CLM
